Robert G. Strauch
Director of Global Equities and Compliance

Mr. Strauch has been with AVR Family of Funds since 2004. In addition to trading responsibilities, his primary role is Director of Global Equities and Compliance. Mr. Strauch has been in the investment industry since 1999. Prior to joining AVR, he was the founder and portfolio manager of Aptos Capital Management, a private investment fund based in San Francisco. Prior to his work in the investment industry, Mr. Strauch worked for seven years as an attorney at the law firm of Downey Brand in Sacramento, California, where he specialized in litigation, including complex securities and commercial litigation. Mr. Strauch earned his law degree from Santa Clara University where he graduated summa cum laude and has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California. Mr. Strauch has served on the Board of Directors of Diogenes Youth Services in Sacramento, California.
